You may not have heard of her, but Danling Xiao puts a smile on people’s faces every day, twice a day.  Her Instagram account, @mundane_matters, featuring quirky food art accompanied by whimsical captions, originally started as a side project to house all of the photos that didn’t fit on her main account.  What began as a hobby has gained quite a following, with her photographs recently featuring on Urbanlist Sydney and the Food Network blog.  We had a chat with the Sydney based designer turned accidental food artist.
