Work-Shop is very fortunate to have amazing artists and teachers share their skills, time, and enthusiasm for their art to all of our budding creatives.

One of our most popular teachers is typography maestro and all around legend Leona Fietz.

Leona graciously opened her space up to us and shared her thoughts about art, life, and what it is that makes and defines an artist.

When I was young I got told I could be and have anything if I worked for it. This stuck to me as I was not raised by a wealthy family – and to think of going from a struggling tiny house (where my sister shared a room with mum) to living a life where I wouldn’t have such problems, was pretty fucking cool.
