NamARTste explores CONSCIOUS CREATIVITY through the union of the Arts and the eight limbed path of Yoga

Our Yoga and Art series is designed to awaken and exercise your creativity through 60 minutes of yoga and 90 minutes of making. We’ve combined our favourite styles of Yoga with an array of artistic techniques and mediums to give you the ultimate taste of creative living.

In this Yoga & Art session, move from mind to body through our dynamic Vinyasa practice. Cultivating the presence of flow, we will engage in creative journaling as a conscious practice of uncovering and exploring themes in your life. You will learn specific techniques; explore a variety of mediums and discover the ritual of incorporating this expressive art form into your self-care toolbox.

This 2.5 hour session will include:

·       60 minute Vinyasa Flow Yoga Practice

·       90 minute Creative Journaling class exploring artistic techniques including chalk pastels.

·       Principles and practices of creative journaling and how to incorporate this into your self care toolbox.

·       Discussion of philosophy of the importance of curiosity in the process of creativity.

 Whether an experienced yogi/artist or just beginning, explore the link between creativity and equanimity.’

Vinyasa Flow –

In this practice we connect movement with breath to create continuous flow through yoga asana (postures.) With a focus on alignment and transitions of the fundamental standing and seated postures you will explore strength, flexibility, endurance and balance as we map the internal landscape.
