Yarn & Weave with Leecee Carmichael

Join textile artist, Leecee Carmichael and learn to weave accessories using natural raffia locally sourced from String Harvest. Leecee will teach the coiling technique which you will use to create your own pair of woven earrings. You will be able to weave your own styles and take them home to continue weaving. The coiling technique is a universal weave which First Nations people have been using for millennia to weave baskets and other forms supporting everyday life activities.
