Zine Making: WRITE IT, DRAW IT, PASTE IT

This work shop will teach you the foundations of zine making. Covering a number of topics, Holly (Founder of Nancy Zine) will guide you from building your zine’s concept all the way until you’re holding a zine to call your own in your hot little crafty hand.

Encouraging all forms of content; writing, illustration and cut and paste, the workshop will include:

• Getting your shit together
• Zine branding
• Sourcing contributors
• Print and budgeting tips
• How to launch your zine
• And how to do it all over again.

This workshop will continue over and into a second workshop available in later weeks:  Zine Making Advanced. Zine Making Advanced will focus on how to use Adobe InDesign to construct your zine, online platforms to showcase your work, and will teach you how to make the transition from a DIY cut and paste zine to an online spectacular.
