The Makers Social

Join us for a night of creativity and community at our Makers Social Club hosted by the iconic Polymer Clay educator, Sheree from Polly Collective. Sheree has been teaching workshops across Australia for six years and has fostered a wave of independent polymer clay makers. This event is designed to bring together polymer clay makers and small business owners who often work in isolation and provide a supportive and fun environment for them to connect and socialise.

At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new friends who love creating with polymer clay, learn together in a relaxed and inspiring space, and network with like-minded makers. You’ll also have the chance to create something fresh and new in a supportive environment and laugh out loud while swapping and sharing helpful info with local creatives.

Just bring your own clay and favorite tools, and we’ll provide the venue, tools, posca pens, color foil, texture tools, snacks, and refreshments. Each session of our Makers Social Club has a unique and exciting theme to get you inspired and excited about creating. You’ll have access to all the tools, materials, and guidance you need to create your masterpiece, and you’ll have the chance to connect and network with other makers who share your passion for creativity. Don’t miss out on this fun and inspiring event!

Each event will have a theme and a project shared by Sheree or a fellow maker. This time around, the nights’ theme is “Booze and Beads”. Sheree will be sharing a fun bead-themed project which is aimed to inspire you and share a few skills at the same time! If beads aren’t your vibe don’t fret the whole idea is to just have fun creating whether you delve into the theme or BYO project or WIP we just want to create with you!

We’ve teamed up with Moondog Brewery to keep your creative juices flowing. Each attendee is treated to two complimentary beers or seltzers for the night – crafted by Moondog Brewery, these beverages are as unique and satisfying as the art you’ll be creating. But if beer or seltzer isn’t your thing, feel free to bring your own favourite booze along – we’re all for making this night as enjoyable for you as possible.
