SPEECH THERAPY 4 – MELBOURNE

Speech Therapy is back for one final wild show in 2015; for lovers of rap, poetry and spoken word this unique event is not to be missed.

Sat Dec 5th will see incredible sets from an all-star line-up of lyrical talent including:

Omar Musa– one of Australia’s most exciting poets and novelists he has toured the world performing non-stop since being crowned the Australian Poetry Slam Champion back in 2008. Since then he has given rousing performances at TedX, had a novel published by Penguin Books (“Here Come The Dogs”), been nominated for several literary prizes and continued to make a name for himself as a rapper (with a full length album due early 2016). His ability as a wordsmith is undoubtedly world-class.

Nf’a – hugely accomplished as both the frontman of legendary outfit 1200 Techniques and as a solo artist Nf’a Jones has been mastering the art of rhyme since the 90s. Having recently collaborated with the likes of Roots Manuva, Ghostface Killah and Drapht he continues to be a force behind the microphone as will be on display on Dec 5th

Remi– truly one of the most exciting MCs to emerge from Australia in recent years Remi has wasted no time in heading overseas to showcase his talents to the world (most recently touring Europe and the US). His debut album won the Australian Music Prize, he’s played Australia’s biggest festivals (Falls Festival, St Kilda Festival etc) and now he’s finally joining us at Speech Therapy.
