Have you ever wanted to skateboard, but didn’t know where to start? Felt unsure about hitting your local skate park alone? Don’t want to buy a deck just to try your hand (well, foot) at skating?
No experience? No worries! This is the class for you!
Led by Jayden Sheridan of Gnarly Neighbours, this beginner-specific class is all about getting comfortable on a skateboard in a space that is safe, private and supportive for women and gender-nonconforming folks.
We’ll cover the basics: pushing, turning and stopping, so you can build confidence, get comfy on your board and have fun without worrying about stacks or judgment. It’s all happening indoors, so we are on rain, hail or shine, and we’ve got decks for you to use, so just bring yourself and an open mind!
Whether you’re here to conquer a lifelong fear or just keen to try something new, you’ll be learning alongside a group that’s got your back. Come connect, meet likeminded folks, start a crew and hit the X-Games, or simply discover the freedom of skating.
No pressure, no judgement, just vibes.
What you'll get
– Basic skateboarding skills and the confidence needed to keep pushing.
what to bring
