This triple bill will take you across three continents in search of the stories behind painted signs and the people that paint them. The films showing on the night are: Man with a Brush (2015) a biopic about the globe-trotting sign painter Mike Meyer; 21st Century Victorian (2013) a profile of showman and fairground signwriter Joby Carter; and Horn Please (2013) an insight into the colourful world of truck decoration and lettering in India.
Mike Meyer will be in attendance to introduce the films, and to demonstrate his work through some ‘live lettering’.
