Selling your stuff online is an awesome way of making money out of your creative passions. To stand out and make sales you need to have good, clear, well lit photos of your products.
Come along to this hands-on workshop to learn simple approaches to lighting, shooting and styling using off the shelf products from Bunnings rather than expensive dedicated photographic gear.
We will be teaching the session at Work-Shop Makery, so will be using the diverse range of products on show there as the subjects for our shoots. We will do everything from small shiny products like jewellery, paintings, small sculptures and fashion on a mannequin.
What you'll get
- A digital SLR and a tripod.
- Precut sheets of flexible white background material for each student – which you can take home, allowing you to keep up your fab new product photography skills!
what to bring
- A camera of some sort or a newish mobile phone as well as the capacity to download apps before the course.
- You will learn about cheap lighting approaches like off-the-shelf LED “flouros”, flood lights and reflectors
