Shibori Indigo Dying

In this amazing class you will be learning the techniques of Shibori Indigo dying. This is an ancient craft of knotting fabric to causes areas to resist the dye and form a pattern on the cloth, we will be using the traditional indigo dye, which adds a special quality to the end result.

Each parent and child will go home with a piece of fabric that they have themselves dyed, in a pattern of their choice and they will learn how to do a few different techniques. We may use the traditional knotting technique, or elastic bands and blocks of wood, to explore different patterns and styles.

One ticket includes entry for one parent and one child.
