In this fun workshop to be held these school holidays at Work-Shop Makery, Mindy would like to teach your child aged 10 and up how to sew – and make a cushion!
We will cover basic hand and machine stitches and sewing safety, plus how to correctly pin and cut projects.
Once we have machine sewed the cushion, students will be encourage to embellish the cushion (using our new hand sewing skills!) to sew on buttons, beads, eyes, ribbons, trims, sequins or draw on designs with fabric markers.
Mindy will be very happy to guide and inspire each child’s own ideas, or they can use the templates and sample ideas provided.

what to bring
As this is a 3hour workshop, please bring a drink of water and a snack. We will break for recess to help keep the creative juices flowing!
