Resin Jewellery Workshop

During the workshop you will learn techniques to be able to create your very own statement resin jewellery by creating bangles and rings. You will learn how to mix resin; add colour with various techniques, pour and finish your pieces. Your wonderful jewellery pieces will be ready for you to take home on the day.

The workshop will start with a brief explanation and demonstration on what resin is, how it works and how to use it, focusing on various mixing techniques. This will enable you to work quickly and efficiently in pouring your resin into the silicone jewellery moulds supplied. A number of different moulds will be available at the workshop for you to choose from.

Next, you will be able to get hands on with the resin and create your very own pieces. During the workshops we use an opaque resin that starts our clear, but sets white, creating a lovely base for the jewellery, we will then use a variety of different colours to create unique, one of a kind jewellery. The techniques you will learn within the class can be use on main different types of resin for you to be able to create you own goodies at home.

Finally, once the resin is set, you will learn how to sand and finish your jewellery ready for you to take home.
