Painting Script With Dirty Bandits

Join San Francisco based typographer, letterer and illustrator Annica Lydenberg (aka Dirty Bandits) for this introduction to hand-painted Script Lettering – perfect for anyone who’s previously attended one of our Brush Script Lettering classes or has some previous lettering experience!

Script painting is made up of only a few simple strokes to get all the thins and thicks. These simple strokes are all you need to add a ton of personality to your letters.

Working with a traditional sign painting brush and enamel paint we will practice upright script, slanted script, high contrast and low contrast as well as explore various types of embellishments and alternates.

After practicing we’ll work on a small sign on boards, and work towards a finished project to take home.
