Paint a Day Of The Dead Sugar Skull Plaque

We will be creating fun Day Of The Dead style sugar skull wall plaques!

We will look at sugar skull imagery and Day of the Dead themes before painting your very own grinning plywood skull.

We will start with blank pre-primed plywood skulls and decorate them with hollow eyes, garlands of flowers, diamonds, and gold teeth with acrylic paint.

We will learn techniques for painting on wood such as line work and shading and importantly how to fix/hide any mistakes.

At the end you will walk away with a 36 x26cm wooden skull plaque that is ready to hang on your wall.
