Next Level Weaving

Do you want to take your weaving skills to the next level?

If you’ve previously attended one of our weaving workshops or have a little experience in setting up and removing your weavings from a loom, plain weave and basic finishings, then this workshop is for you!  Next Level Weaving is the perfect workshop for students wanting to grow and finesse their skills!

In this 4.5 hour session we’ll further explore the use of texture and colour and work with stencils to expand our weaving repertoire. We’ll experiment with negative space, wrapping and binding, the use of embellishments and learn to master the appropriate finishing techniques tailored to your designs. Learn Rachel’s personal time-saving techniques and warping secrets that will allow you to take your pieces to the next level. In addition to an extra tool and a roving pack, Rachel will be incorporating elements from her own practice with re-purposed materials, yarn and other found objects .   A workshop you wont want to miss!
