Weaving is a method of textile production consisting of two distinct sets of yarn – the warp and the weft – which are interlocked to form a stable piece of fabric or cloth. Tapestry is a form of woven textile art traditionally made on a vertical loom, and is made for creative or aesthetic display purposes.

This workshop will introduce participants to the basic techniques of weaving on small tapestry looms. Students will be shown various weaving stitches in order to create their own tapestry creations.  So come and unwind, and spend an evening with us mastering this ancient craft.
