Make A Round Raffia Bag

Join me for a fabulous afternoon of working with raffia. This bag is extremely easy to make and requires no previous sewing or plating experience. You’ll learn to make a 4 plait braid and the braiding rhythm is very meditative.   My classes are limited to a maximum of 10 Students, allowing for lots of one on one tuition plus giggles and chatter. When your girlfriends ask you where you bought your bag, you’ll have the priceless pleasure and pride of saying “I made it!”  Each Student will take home their own ‘natural’ raffia bag and go home with the knowledge of how to colour the raffia for their future projects.
