25th April 2015 marks the 100 year anniversary of Anzac Day.

To honour this history, we will be constructing a handmade red silk Remembrance Poppy that can be worn as either a brooch or hair accessory.

What you'll get

The skills to continue making these silk flowers at home. Once you have made one you will want to keep making them for your family and friends.

No specialist equipment is required to construct these, so its perfect for beginners.

what to bring

1 old cotton hankie or a small square of light coloured cotton fabric

Pointy nosed pliers (only if you have them)

Box to take your flower home in and maybe some tissue paper if you have it.
