Knitting in the Round

Learn to knit in the round and walk away with the skills (and tools) to create your own ultra-soft hand warmers; perfect for gifting, keeping cosy, or donating to someone in need.

In this practical, hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to knit using double-pointed needles, along with super-stretchy cast on and bind off techniques that help your hand warmers fit comfortably and move with you. Along the way you’ll pick up useful tips and foundational skills that will set you up for future circular knitting projects.

Each student will receive a complete kit with everything needed to finish a pair of fingerless gloves. The tools are yours to keep, so you can continue practising and creating long after the workshop ends. Jeni will guide you step-by-step throughout the session, and you’ll also receive ongoing access to her instructional videos so you can keep working at your own pace at home.

Learning to knit in the round opens the door to a whole world of projects; from socks and hats to sleeves and sweaters. Once you understand the technique, you’ll be able to create seamless, beautifully made garments and accessories designed to last.
