Get good at YOU, and have fun doing it!

The number one priority for our Kids Drama Workshop is “FUN AND GAMES”, quite literally. For two and a half fast paced, laugh-a-minute hours, our workshop gives kids a chance to let loose, to delve into their deepest happiness and to get excited about the person they are.

Together we play drama games which inherently engage children’s listening skills, body language interpretation, communication skills, their understanding of empathy and how to both recognize it and demonstrate it in their own behaviours.

All of our games draw on drama forms and theories including Shakespearean Classicism, Realism, Augusto Boal’s Theatre of The Oppressed, therapeutic Process Drama and Safe Space Theory.

Participants will be welcomed into a safe, bully-free space with joy and excitement as they experience the thrill of working creatively with peers towards better versions of themselves. The empahsis of this workshop is not on ‘performance’ in the traditional sense, but on understanding how we ‘perform ourselves’ in everyday life.
