This course covers the basics of painting portraits using oil paint. Through exercises and instruction you will learn how to mix colour, develop rich layers of oil paint, explore different portraiture techniques, use a range of mediums, and develop different effects and brushstrokes. You will leave with a finished painting along with a sound knowledge of oil painting and portraiture.
