Ever wanted to turn your sketches into a working typeface?
This workshop will see participants working on letterform designs from sketch through to screen. Participants will have a chance to develop font ideas on paper and then be introduced to designing fonts using type-specific software (Fontlab).
This full day session will cover letterforms basics and structure, sketching and concept refinement, through to computerised design development.
This course is best suited to designers and letterers with a decent comprehension of typography and moderate to advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator.
