Intro to Welding

Believe it or not, welding offers all interested parties the ultimate in instant gratification.

No drilling, screwing, hammering, waiting for glue to dry… Just components, once separate and individual, now unified seamlessly into a (sometimes) beautiful whole!

What could be better?

Adding welding to your skill set will open a world of practical, crafty and artistic possibilities, limited only by your imagination, which – as you are the type of person who is reading this – is surely ambitiously wild and extensive…. Phew.

It’s also a lot of fun.

Mostly we will concentrate on mig welding, with a possibility of some arc welding depending on interest levels.
