Don’t be a tool, learn to use one. In this practical class for female beginners, you’ll learn how to use common tools to fix household issues, undertake your own projects, and become a DIY queen. Covering the humble hammer, electric drill, and jigsaw, you’ll be taken step-by-step through the process of making a stylish planter box to take home. This workshop will also cover safety, measuring and cutting timber and components, proper handling and other applications of tools.

The basic principles and skills you’ll pick up are easily transferred to a plethora of at-home DIY creations. This class aims to empower women with confidence and real-world skills in a fun, relaxed, and inclusive environment. Discard heteronormativity, pick up a hammer, and smash the patriarchy. Sisters are doin’ it for themselves.

Please note this workshop is strictly limited to 10 spots.
