Introducing a full five hour workshop with paper wizz Michelle Lackenby from Paperazzi Design Studio! This workshop will introduce the skills needed to create your own hard cover book.

In this course you will learn how to sew your own hardcover book known as a Case Binding or an Edition bound book. Explore the exciting world of bookbinding and gain a skill for life!

In this one day workshop Michelle will take you through the importance of paper direction and grain, essential bookbinding tools and where to find them and of course the method and technique required to create your very own hardcover, soft spine book.

Come along and take your bookbinding skills to new heights! Case bound books are ideal for a handmade journal or notebook and are the perfect handmade gift to yourself or someone special. Decorative papers, ribbons and covers will be available for you to use to complete your A5 hardcover book to take home.

No experience necessary and all notes and materials will be provided for you to create your very own handmade book over 1  fun filled session of bookbinding!
