Learn how to make your own handmade paper & also how to create a hand bound journal from handmade paper as well!

In this 4.5 hour introductory class, Susan from Born In Paper will take students through the process of making their own handmade paper using recycled office waste, raw cotton from Wee Waa cotton industry, flowers and colour to make beautiful paper.

You will learn how to prepare your pulp, pull sheets of paper, press, and dry them and in addition, Susan will also take you through the process of making your own single stitched button wrap journal using handmade papers.

You’ll also learn the quick and easy way to press and dry flowers for use in paper making and creative projects.

All materials and equipment are provided and you’ll leave the class with 6-8 sheets of your own handmade paper as well as a hand bound journal also made by you!
