Ever been curious about how to get natural colours from flowers, herbs and food to create coloured dyes onto fabric?

Join Jo from Inside Jo.B Textile Studio she will teach you how to eco dye from foraged flowers, plants, herbs and foods to dye a silk scarf, as well as other techniques.

Our skin is the biggest organ and absorbs all the time and natural dyed fabrics can be healing, not just for us but damn good for the earth…especially when you can chuck all the flower waste in the garden when you finished dyeing your new scarf!

The 2 hour class you’ll receive a 42 x 160cm pure silk scarf to eco bundle dye, unbleached cotton and raw silk for hammering colours from plants onto fabric, how to make the colours fix to fabrics and how to up-cycle old stained clothes to all new natural organic patterns and colours.

After the workshop you get digital notes with supplies and techniques, plus you can join an online network for support and to share your results, or any future natural dye experiments!

Please bring an old t-shirt or pillow case (natural fabrics only will work) to dye with natural, pinks, purples, yellows and golden browns the results are endless… be ready for fun, messy play.

Please note: This is a child friendly event from 8 years old+ please.
