Come and explore hand embroidery as a fun, relaxing way to bring your inspirations to life! Each person will receive their own embroidery kit including an embroidery hoop, fabric, thread and needles.
Over the class you will learn Indian kasuti- a traditional stitch. You will learn different techniques of this traditional stitch, so that you can apply your knowledge to make embroided quilts, stole, cushions, hankerchiefs, etc. This is a deceptively simple craft that can be experienced by beginners to advanced embroiderers.
You will be stitching beautifully in no time!
What you'll get
You will create samples of embroidery stitches to practice and to take home and keep as a reference. At the end of two hour worshop you will learn to make your own hand embroided necklace on a miniature embroidery hoop.
