Eco-friendly, fast-setting, water-based, non-toxic, and fume-free, Jesmonite is taking the craft world by storm. This composite material is often used in fine arts, crafts, and construction and consists of a gypsum-based material in a resin which can be used for a variety of different uses.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals (and some fun tips) of this incredibly versatile casting medium. We’ll cover measuring, mixing, pouring, colouring, creating terrazzo and marbled patterns, and how to correctly de-mold, sand, as well as lacquering techniques for a professional finish.
We’ll have a range of colours and different mould options available such as trays, coasters, trinket boxes, plant pots, and more for you to explore and experiment with throughout the session.
