Learn how to create your very own designer light shade or lamp to complement your interior in an easy and practical workshop. You will be shown how to measure, cut and apply the fabric of your choice. If you choose to bring along a lamp base as well, spray paints in various colours will also be provided for you to change the entire look of your lamp. At the end of the workshop you will take home a lovely decorative lamp or lightshade for your home or to give away as a gift.

What you'll get

All the materials you’ll need to revamp your lamp shade will be provided including second-hand lamps and a selection of fabrics.

what to bring

Optional – Students are welcome to bring along their own fabric if they would like to personalise their lampshade. Fabric should be lightweight cotton.  1 Metre should do the trick!
