Lights, Camera, Action! Join the team from Work-Shop and the Canon Collective for a fun, creative and hands on photography experience. Pick up tips and tricks and experiment with both creative and technical elements to create fantastic portraits.

During this two-hour session, you’ll be taken through a variety of different techniques utilising both natural light and flash. Experiment with a range of professional lenses and learn how to manipulate and control your depth of field, and how to transform your images utilising a range of focal lengths.

This session will also incorporate plenty of time for hands on practice, and opportunity to capture some great portraits for your portfolio!

What you'll get

  • All cameras and equipment will be supplied by Canon (including a range of EOS cameras, L series prime and zoom lenses, 600 EX flash, lighting stands, soft boxes and reflectors)
  • Professional performer Lucia Carbine to photograph during the class

what to bring

  • If you have your own Digital Camera bring it along
  • A notepad and pen for taking notes
