Make a charming custom wall hanging in this introductory course to the ancient craft of tapestry weaving.
In this workshop, we will use and combine a variety of materials from wool yarn, roving, raffia and silk, and embellish our pieces with semi precious stones and other treasures, to create a beautiful unique wall hanging.
Weaving is a really easy, soothing and relaxing craft, so it is a perfect way to unwind and switch off from your day to day stresses.
What you'll get

All materials will be provided, but if you want to add some extra personal touches to your wall hanging, feel free to bring along:
An old, dead, favourite garmet or textile to cut up and weave
Beads, ribbons, scrap yarns
A small stick from your favourite tree (approx 20cm)
