Ukulele by the Sea

The Bondi Winter Magic Festival is on so we are bringing the sounds of Ukulele to the Sea. Up to 60 lucky people will join in a FREE 1 hour Ukulele session with Tom the Pom and strum to the sounds of the crystal waves lapping on Bondi Beach!

Uke workshop is limited to 60 pax but ALL welcome to stay around for some easy listening Jazz & Blues by the Blue Panthers from 1pm.

The Blue Panthers were formed in 2013. Members of the iconic Bondi Surf Club, keen body surfers and long time Sydney musicians with roots from many music genres.

Originating from various gigs around Bondi, the music is a range of easy listening jazz with a mix of Bossa, Blues, modern jazz and some contemporary pop tunes. 

Multi instrumentalist Lee Hutchings is a well known Sydney jazz musician who has played with some of the world’s best and his unique style converges with the seductive groove created by Bassist Peter Gray and the cool guitar licks of Tom Connelley. Jo Rahman plays drums.
