“Covert Characters Life Drawing” is a social and unpretentious life drawing class catering to all skill levels, from first timers to professional illustrators.
The 2 hour session will begin by focusing on quick sketches, starting with 30 second, 2 minute and 5 minute poses. After a quick break we’ll move onto 10 and 15 minute poses where students can be more experimental with other media such as chalk and oil pastels or more expressive illustration. For this session model Lorelle Rouge will muse the iconic artist and activist, Frida Kahlo.
Occasional suggestions are made throughout the class to experiment with observational methods and sketching techniques.
