Under the guide of Jeweller and Printmaker Cassandra Gill, learn how to texture metal using recycled materials.

In this 3 hour workshop you will learn a range of basic metal-smithing and mark making techniques using various hammers, letters stamps, numbers stamps and many other tools.

You will then have the opportunity to create an individual piece of your own with the option of making a ring, pendant, earrings or brooch, turning recycled materials into wonderful creations.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn techniques, tools and tips for making your own jewellery creations, this introductory level workshop is perfect for you.

All materials to create your own unique jewellery creation including:

  • Metal (copper/ brass/ aluminium)
  • Copper or brass wire  
  • Recycled materials (copper and brass cut outs)
  • Findings – earring hooks and jump rings, stud posts, brooch backs
  • A pouch to take home your creations in
