The Design Conference Presents: Letterpress + Typesetting with Nicole Phillips

In conjunction with The Design Conference and Design College Australia, Australian Designer and Typographer Nicole Phillips will be sharing her techniques of letterpress and typesetting.

In this hands-on 3hr session, participants will gain an overview of the history of handset type and letterpress printing before undertaking a brief which calls for both conventional and experimental approaches to typesetting. Participants will produce an A4 letterpress print onto luxurious cotton based paper stock using Design College Australia’s awesome letterpress equipment, while under the instruction of letterpress geek Nicole Phillips 🙂
