Over a career spanning more than three decades Phibs has become one of the most respected and renowned names in the Australian Graffiti/Street art scene. His public artworks are prolific in Melbourne, Sydney and around the world.

Known for his distinctive style and attention to detail he produces works across a vast variety of mediums and consistently reflects his own unique realms of symbolism, multiculturalism and mythology.

In this 5 hour workshop you will learn about this ever growing sub-culture, different paint techniques and products and how to turn your ideas into large scale murals and the creative process behind it.

Once inspired you’ll move into a quick sketching session where you will begin to plan what you want to paint. Feel free to bring any ideas or reference material from home that you would like to work off.
Next would be selecting the right colour palette to work with and getting your head around the layering process.

Canvas will be provided where you can practice and experiment with cut-backs, fades and getting can control.
Phibs will provide 1-on-1 guidance and help you create your master piece. At the end of the day, you will get to cut it out and take home to hang on the pool room wall!

Besides the work seen in our city streets this is a unique insight and opportunity to learn about a sub-culture which is generally hidden from the general public.
