Are you ready to create a piece of art that you can use for years to come?

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to paint and glaze a ceramic plate with your own image or design. Draw inspiration from a range of styles; Japanese and Italian style ceramics, Impressionist painting and contemporary Aboriginal artists. The plates will be decorated with images, created or chosen by each student!

Creating your own ceramic wares can be a wonderful, practical application of your talent. Whether it’s home wares for your own home, a gift or perhaps a way to make some cash selling at the markets. If you were to do it on your own, it’s a laborious process… you need access to a kiln, have plenty of time and plenty of practice. At Work-shop  we are going to skip all the hard bits and just do the fun part!
