Learn basic leather working skills and have a tonne of fun making your own leather jewellery in this 3 hour leathercraft for beginners workshop with leather crafter & designer Katie Engelhardt from Studio Liebling.

Katie will lead you through some fundamental leather craft skills and techniques before you are set free to put them to practice creating a necklace, wrist cuff or pair of earrings (or all three if time permits!). Using locally sourced leather in a dazzling array of colours, high quality brass hardware and steel jewellery findings, you will try your hands at cutting leather, fixing jewellery findings, bonding, stamping, punching and riveting and go home with and a collection of new-found leather craft skills AND some fancy new bling!

A super-fun and practical workshop suitable for beginners. Leather, hardware, jewellery findings and tools to use on the day will be supplied.
