Enjoy an evening of botanical art!
Welcoming all levels from beginners to advanced, Jessie Ford will introduce the process involved in creating a botanical artwork. At the end of the 3 hours you will have a beautiful artwork to take home, as well as having gained knowledge in drawing and watercolour painting. Specific techniques include:
- Observational skills
- Drawing your specimen
- Transferring your drawing
- Basic colour mixing
- Watercolour techniques: wet-in-wet, wet on dry, dry brush, glazing
With all materials included and a glass of wine in hand, this is your chance to observe and record nature in all it’s beautiful detail.
