Etsy Masterclass: Weave A Wall Hanging

Learn all the tips and tricks you need to create your own woven masterpiece! In this 4 hour hands-on course you will learn how to prepare your loom, an array of weaving techniques including plain weave, twills, soumak, tassels plus lots more, how to create leashes on a heddle bar for faster weaving, as well as different ways to finish and remove your completed weave from the loom.

This workshop focuses on weft-faced tapestry weaving techniques to create pattern and texture in the woven piece but other techniques will be discussed throughout the workshop. There will be a 2 shaft table loom available to try out on the day to further your understanding of this wonderful artform.

The class fee includes a locally made loom, weaving needle and extra warp yarn to take home.
