Our friends atĀ Decks For ChangeĀ believe that skateboarding can change lives, and art changes minds, so they want you toĀ createĀ a skate deck design that sheds light on an important issue to you or your community.

Weā€™re getting behind this amazing cause by hosting aĀ ā€˜Design A Skate Deckā€™ Workshop with Melbourne Artists and SkateboardersĀ PigeonboyĀ andĀ Matt DwyerĀ who will share their love of skateboarding and skate art – talking about some of their main influences, favourite artists and board graphics and get you inspired to create aĀ submission for the competition!

Weā€™ll hook you up with a skate deck, a range of Ironlak art materials, all you need to bring is your ideas! Weā€™ll also throw in some social lubricants to get the creative juices flowing, so even if you havenā€™t picked up a paintbrush sinceĀ kindergarten youā€™re guaranteed to create an absolute masterpiece, all the while supporting a darn good cause!

Whether you use paint, pencil, texta, collage or another medium of your choice, this is your opportunity to make a difference and get behind an awesome cause, with all proceeds going towardsĀ building a community skatepark in Nepal withĀ Make Life Skate Life.

If you wish, you can submit your creation to theĀ Decks for ChangeĀ comp where winning artworks will be exhibited at events in Sydney & Melbourne alongside renowned skate artistsĀ Lucas Beaufort, Mark ā€˜FOSā€™ Foster, Marty Baptist, Sebo Walker, Cory Scroggins & more to be announced!

Together, we can create skate art for a better world!
