Comic Illustration Workshop

Become a comic artist!

In this 4 hour workshop with comic creators Angie Spice & Nathan Onias, you will learn all about the craft of sequential art (that means comics!). We will discuss the anatomy of a comic page and techniques for telling a story through sequential art. Participants will design a layout with thumbnails and sketches, practice drawing techniques and mark making with pen and brush.

This workshop is part of Indie Comic Con, Melbourne’s newest comic book festival showcasing local and independent comic artists, writers and creators. Taking place at Northcote Town Hall on Saturday, 4th November, 2017 from 10AM-5PM, the festival will showcase over 30 independent comic book creators from across Australia.
