Acrylic in Action

Whether you’ve never picked up a paint brush before or you’re looking to hone your painting skills and develop your style, ‘Acrylic in Action’ will give you the inspiration to get creating!

The workshop will focus on painting portraits (faces) but these skills and approach could be used to paint landscapes, abstracts or anything else the mind can fathom.

With a key focus on spontaneity and intuition, this workshop will encourage you to develop and embrace your own style and find comfort in your own technique and aesthetic. If you’re looking for a highly technical and academic approach to acrylic painting, this course will not be for you… On the other hand, if you’re open to new ideas and want to be freed form the handcuffs that tell you ‘this is how you should paint’- you will feel right at home! Welcome.

The workshop will focus on two paintings per student. The first is a ‘fast and intuitive’ paint which you will finish within the workshop. The second you will begin and progress and, depending on style and speed, may need to be finished outside workshop hours.
